The signature is on, my web site is updated, and the drawing is packaged for mailing!The client has decided to frame the 9x12 drawing in an 11x14 frame without a mat. I'm eager to see the result!

- I love realistic portraits rendered with the quiet elegance of graphite pencils. I use 2 mm lead holders with 2H, HB, 2B and 4B leads and a 0.3mm technical pencil with HB leads. I prize the contrasts of graphite with the white of the paper and love to maintain a pure white background when I can. I generally use 100 pound Strathmore Bristol smooth in 9x12 or 11x14 format.

The parents, “Sweetest Kiss” , and most recently for my son “Daddy’s Boots” are so real with intimate details that you can almost feel them. Thanks so much…we love your work, Bruce
